Advocating for Employees Only

Passion. Experience.Ethics.

After graduation from law school, John R. Crone joined a full service, general litigation and transactional law firm in Anchorage, Alaska. In this role, Mr. Crone primarily represented business clients in all manner of disputes, ranging from real estate and construction to securities and defense of wage and hour and discrimination claims. Learning to practice law in Alaska was trial by fire, and within a couple of years at this law firm, Mr. Crone had appeared before various administrative agencies, federal and state trial courts, as well as the Alaska Supreme Court. Importantly, in representing various businesses in employment related disputes, Mr. Crone gained knowledge on what motivates employers, how they view employment related disputes, and how to effectively propose solutions that make business sense. In seeking fair and efficient resolutions for clients, this experience has proved invaluable.

Upon leaving Alaska for Denver, Colorado, Mr. Crone joined an employee-side law firm and a firm that specializes in representing consumers in products liability cases. In both roles, Mr. Crone advocated for clients seeking to right a wrong, including numerous private and public sector employees. In working for these law firms, Mr. Crone represented clients before administrative agencies, trial courts, and courts of appeal. Not shy to take a case to trial or hearing, Mr. Crone learned that sometimes, the shortest path to resolving a client’s problem is by putting the facts before a judge, jury, or both.

By September 2018, it became clear to Mr. Crone that his passion for ensuring workers’ rights to dignity and fair pay in the workplace had surpassed his interest in other areas of the law. The time had come for Mr. Crone to focus solely on representing employees in workplace disputes and he opened The Law Office of John R. Crone, LLC to realize this goal. Since opening, Mr. Crone has continued his work by representing and advocating for employees only.
